The location was beautiful for me, in a competitive international market. The offered breakfast was extensive and included a good choice of options. The stuff where very helpful and attentive and provided a very good service.

We had a great stay at this small hotel. The location was central, very close to the Palheiro Gardens and Golf Course, as well as bars and restaurants in the area. It was also within a 45-minute walk to the lake.

It is a stylish property located in the Sao Goncalo district near the bay. The food is high quality, and I enjoyed the continental breakfast.- The rooms are good-sized and airy with magnificent views over Funchal's bay.

Location: the hotel was so close to the bay of Funchal, the Palheiro gardens which one can step into easily to appreciate the tropical floral colours and scents, and the cafés. We had a twin room with a safe box, a mini bar and central heating.

I recently stayed at Casa Velha Do Palheiro for a relaxing getaway. The hotel's location, situated on a hill overlooking the bay, was breathtaking. The beautiful British architecture and landscape added a touch of history and elegance. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the rooms, spa, pool, and gym were all in excellent condition. The hotel even had its own boat! The upgraded suite I stayed in had stunning views of the garden and golf course. a generous and upmarket experience that left me wanting for nothing.
